Veteran producer AM Ratnam is producing Karuppan, which has Lakshmi Menon playing the romantic interest of Vijay Sethupathi. It is to be noted that Lakshmi Menon and Vijay Sethupathi shared the screen space only recently in Rekka last year. “The shooting for Karuppan has started in Theni and plans are on to complete the movie and release it at the earliest,” sources said.
